That's pretty much what my 67 SWB looked like before 10 cans of flat black.

Re: Changed My Cab This Weekend
I bet your "throw away" California cab is better than most midwest rust-belt cabs. Were you swapping for rust,... or to add A/C?

Re: Changed My Cab This Weekend
I like truck with many colored panels because (usually) the off colored parts are better than the ones that came off, and that's a sign someone cares about the truck.

I Changed The Cab Because Of Major Rust In The Roof And Foor. The New A/c Cab Only Needs Rockers And A Drip Rail. I Changed The Vin Over From The Blue Cab.i Have Never Have A Problem With Vin Swaps. My Yellow Truck's Vin Got Lost While Beening Painted That Was 9 Yrs Ago.

Re: Changed My Cab This Weekend
Looks like you had an easier time lifting your cab than I did mine, I used two pulleys attached to the garage ceiling, put a 4X4 throught the cab and attached ropes to it and hooked them to my wifes minivan. It lifted it straight up. I sure wish i had taken some pic of it!!!!

Re: Changed My Cab This Weekend
That's how mine will look for awhile once I get it back together. I'll be picking up my frame on Monday from the surgeon and have all the parts lined up to be put back on.
