Jeep Brakes
Any one ever tried using the braking system from a 99 to present Jeep Grand Cherokee cuz a friend of mine is selling me the rear end from his 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the bolt pattern seems to be the same. I have not Measured the axle but maybey just add the whole axle in to make thing simple.
Please input and Thank You in advance. |

Re: Jeep Brakes
That axle is either a Dana 35 or an aluminum Dana 44. No gain strength wise on anything in any Chevy 1/2 ton PU.
Also, the bolt pattern is 5 on 4.5" not anything close to what you would have at 5 on 5" or 6 lug. |

I found that the bolt pattern infact is 5x127 or 5x5 in with 1/2rh holes for the lugs |

For a 1999 Grand Cherokee? All Jeeps in 1999 were 5 on 4.5". That was the last year I worked at the Jeep dealership. |
