Where to get?
Anyone know where I could get a set of kick panel air vents for my 66? The steel is all good in mine but the rubber is broken on both of them. Looks like the rubber is an integral part of the door. Is someone reproducing these whole units?

Re: Where to get?
Ya mean the rubber that goes around the door itself? You can buy replacements, I re did mine. The ones I replaced it with are a foam type material, so far they work great.
vendor parts links: http://woogeroo.home.mindspring.com/.../ctgparts.html I got my seal around the door replacement parts from American Classic. Here you can read a write up I did after I replaced mine... no pics, text only: http://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/co...let_valves.htm -W Last edited by Woogeroo; 12-31-2005 at 06:28 AM. |
