How did you mount your newer seat?
I now have a 92 or so Chevy bench I want to install in my 71. I know the holes don't all line up. What type of bracket did you make or use to mount yours? I want it solid and as pleasing on the eyes as possible. Pics would be great.

I drilled new holes in the floor where needed, and installed nice strong bolts with LARGE washers under the cab for extra thickness!!!

Putter has the plan.
It is always smarter to use fine thread bolts on seats and seatbelts.

I set the seat flat on the floor. Marked and drilled the hole. I also used massive fender washers on the under side of the cab.
I ran the seat like that for about 3 months then I pulled it out and pie cut the seat brackets so I had a little more rake to the seat.
