where to get inline 6 rebuild kit/parts?

Hi,

So I am just about done tearing apart my inline 6, and need to start ordering parts.

I see that LMC appears to have all of the parts I need (rings, camshaft bearings, etc). Should I just order from them, or are there other/better sources for getting this stuff?

Here's their list of parts:

For your information, this is just a daily driver, so I am looking for reliable/efficient/cheap parts rather than performance parts.

Thanks in advance guys - y'all are a tremendous help.

I get all my inline engine parts from the local parts store or Summit. My local O Reilly's gets me bearings, rings, and such. Of course, Summit has all of it too.

i have had great luck with engine parts from NAPA.they have good seals and gaskets also.i don't know what brands they carry at LMC,but i would stay with good name brand parts......not brand X.NAPA maybe a little more exspensive but you get what you pay for.

Summit, Jegs, has great "kit" prices. I have used powerhouse out of Californis for engine kits as well and the pieces can be upgraded for extra money (Ibought a 350 kit for $200 pistons, rings, gaskets, timing set, cam, bearings, everything) Pull a carcraft or hot rod magazine off the shelf and look through the advertisements, you should find powerhouse. Summit is 1 800 230-3030

Summit will send you a free catalog. But the local parts store can probably get your stuff just as quick and probably about as cheap. And when you forget something they know who you are and will help.
