windshield trim

Does anybody make replacement stainless trim for the windshields of our trucks. The body shop removed the windshield 26 months ago and lost my stainless trim. They're willing to pick up the tab for some new trim, but I've never seen it for sale anywhere. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Re: windshield trim

I'll sell you a set for $12,000.00.....I'll even split the profit with you!

I actually do have some I would consider selling. I know this isn't the "For Sale" section but I am registered so it should be okay. I'm pretty sure it's complete and in good shape but to be sure I would need to look. PM me if you're interested.

Re: windshield trim

I would try to get OEM used ones if you can. The repops are very thin, and bend super easy. I installed aftermarket ones in a buddys 71, and they were o.k. BUT, they still don't fit like the originals.

I'm assuming the rest of the truck comes with the trim for that price! LOL Post some pics if you can, based on biggmc24's comments, I think I'd rather have the OEM trim than the REPOP. Thanks again for all the replies.

Re: windshield trim

I found a dent in the piece that goes across the top. I think it could be straightened enough to not notice but you be the judge.
