How to use a 88-98 Steering Wheel Horn?

I put an 88-98 steering wheel on my truck, and I can't figure out how to get the horn to work. With the old wheel, it had a button thing, but the the new wheel, has a clip (spade connector).

You need the wire that goes from the horn button to the column. It has a contact, spring, and retainer on one end, and a spade on the other.

This would come off of an 88-98, correct? I believe I HAD the piece you're talking about...but I had my column rebuilt, and in the process of taking it apart/putting it back together, that specific wire got broken/lost.

You can get them at the dealer. I got mine from there and was less than $10.

I don't have the number anymore. You can call the dealership and they should be able to tell you the number. It's pretty easy for them to find. I tried GMpart direct and didn't find it on there.
