Found Lots of goodies in the Salvage Yard
OK,
I am not trying to sell anything, just thought that I would let people know that I have found a great local source for some good cabs, doors, fenders, Radiator supports and other stuff. Today I got a set of Big Block 396 motor mounts for $20.00 and a set of front bumper brackets for $10.00, I will post pictures in a few days for those of you who might need cabs or such and just can't get them where your at. He is fairly reasonably priced. AGAIN I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL THESE PARTS, HOWEVER IF SOMEONE NEEDS SOMETHING I WILL GIVE YOU HIS PHONE NUMBER AND I AM WILLING TO PULL THE PARTS SOME OF THE PARTS FOR YOU. Just trying to help out. Pictures coming in the next few days Oh and just because I know someone will post this let me beat you to it. |

Re: Found Lots of goodies in the Salvage Yard
Man you guys are so lucky to have good stuff still in the wrecking yards. The last pick-a-part I went to, all I saw were rows of Astro vans and Dodges of every description. TTT for the thread.

Re: Found Lots of goodies in the Salvage Yard
It's getting that way around here too. When the price of scrap iron was up a lot of good parts went to the crusher. If you are like me and try to get a few old parts trucks gathered up you will get a visit from the codes officer or EPA with all the regs. on leaking oil and such. It is a day to day battle to keep our hobby from costing to much for the average Joe to afford it. O well if it was easy everyone would do it. Sorry if I sound a little bitter in 1998 I lost 33 good projects due to codes compliance.
