Need Recomendation: Brake shop in Seattle area?

My drum brakes are back to a sorry state. More wobbly uneven stops. About a year ago I blew a front wheel cylinder and had to have some quick work done, but I'm thinking now the job wasn't done well.

Since I have no time to fix this myself I need a place to give them the once-over and get them fixed right. Any recomendations?

Les Schwab will check them out for free.. and give you a quote for what you need done. They also do good work on brakes, wheel cylinders, etc. There should be plenty of them in your area

Re: Need Recomendation: Brake shop in Seattle area?

They're the "in a pinch" shop I mentioned earlier. They're not a brake shop per-se, although they advertise it. The're a wheel-and-tire-allignment place. And, unfortunately the warantee on the work they did on helping out with the master cylinder, the proportioning, wheel cylinders, shoes and turning the drums expired about two weeks ago. Just in time to start having brake problems...

My confidence in them on brakes is basically gone, but I will be taking it in there to try and get an answer out of them. They've had two shots at this truck in 4 years, and neither time did the work live much past the warantee.

if it only expired two weeks ago, I bet they would work with you on the price.

Maybe. I'm just preparing for the worst (Les Schwab expects me to shell out money for a brake job they already kinda goofed up) - it would be nice to know where else I could take it.
