Re: cup holder kit....
I have one in both of my trucks. Bought them direct from Old Air Products.
http://www.oldairproducts.com They are pretty easy to install. The only hard part was putting in the mounting screws....very tight area to work in. An offset ratcheting screwdriver really helped.

Re: cup holder kit....
Got mine from Wes too. I think it was around $50, but it was a christmas present so technically, I'm not suppost to know how much it cost.
It works pretty good. You can't use too large a cup (my Venti Mocha doesn't fit) or cups with soft sides and bottoms that aren't flat. It is great for soda pop cans. Much more functional than the ashtray.

Re: cup holder kit....
I bought mine from Early Classic and must say that I like it a lot better than the old ashtray. The size of the cup it will accept is somewhat limited, however. As others have said, the installation was pretty simple, with the possible exception of the mounting screws.

Re: cup holder kit....
If you have AC, the install is slightly more complicated and you will need to remove one of the ducts to the center vent.
One of the magazines did a complete, step-by-step install write up shortly after these came out. I'll see if I can find the issue at home and give you the magazine title and date.

Re: cup holder kit....
i do have a/c, but i also need to replace the vent hoses (then charge the system), so it will be a good time to do it all. i have (i think) a couple years worth of classic trucks, if you can reference to the month/year that would be great. thanks.
