swapping 70 to 68 GMC hood?

I know it's been asked before. Will a 67 or 68 GMC hood fit a 69 thru 72 GMC? Would all that would have to be done, is remove the grill bar off the 69/72 grill, and then use a 67/68 GMC hood bar? Are the grill eyebrows the same for all years? Just giving this a little thought, and needed to ask.....

Yes.. all you have to do is use the 67-68 upper grille bar ... AND... 67 68 eyebrow mouldings as the 69 - 72 ones are much wider and taller

Aren't the fenders different. I seem to remember the fenders and hood won't match because of the difference in the grills?

You will need to use the 67-68 front fenders for sure unless you are a crafty metalworker. There's also some other items you'll have to change. There's a thread somewhere on here where someone with a burb did the conversion and explained everything that was involved. Use the search button. You'll be amazed at what you find....

GMC are easy they kept the same style of fender all the way through 72, except with the 67's because there was no side markers. 68 chevy fenders are the same as GMC's 68-72 fenders and all the 67 fenders are the same.

That's what I thought about the GMC fenders, being the same. Is the GMC hood latch the same for all years?
