Re: T-3 Headlight for sale
Just FYI- I don't think those are the correct t-3s for the trucks. At least they are different from the ones we have on the 72 GMC. Is this a single hi/lo (large chevy) light, or the smaller for the quad lite setup? Mine have the "t-3" in a rectangular box, IIRC. But I'm not sure how the larger(chevy) ones on our trucks are. I've sold a ton of t-3s on Ebay and the ones on the truck were the only ones I've seen that didn't have the triangle. There are a few different styles for diff years and makes.

Re: T-3 Headlight for sale
Al's 71gmc,
It is a correct, original truck light... My '68 BB truck still has both original headlights...and they look just like the one in 72armyswbtruck's picture in the first post. Chris

Re: T-3 Headlight for sale
There are 3 main groupings of T-3 lamps as put out by the Corvette people.
58/59 - Have a clear triangle with the word "GUIDE" directly on top the triangle 60/67 - Have a clear triange with "GUIDE" at the bottom of the bulb in the "six o'clock" position 68/72 - Have a striped triangle with "GUIDE" at "six o'clock" I believe this info is for 4 lamp systems. I have found a few 2 lamp T-3 bulbs but mainly 4 lamp bulbs. A lot of older GMC trucks will still have their original high beam lamps but the high/low have been replaced. I have seen some 6 volt lamps marked T-3 with squares as mentioned above. It is all getting harder and harder to find. I personally like the newer halogen sealed beams but then I not a "purist". I know this info came off the internet back in 1999 but I believe it to be reliable.

Re: T-3 Headlight for sale
I'm sure you guys are right. I'm assuming the one above is a single hi/lo for chevys. The set I found that had the rectangles were 12volt and was put together from 2-3 of our vintage gmc trucks. The set sold on ebay with a BIN within a couple of hours of being listed. My son's 72 still had 3 out of 4 of this style and I found the 4th in that same boneyard in another truck. None of the Gmc trucks that I found there had the triangular badge. Maybe they were all replacements, but like I said they were 12 volt bulbs.
