Where does this go?
I am going to be doing all the usual cab work on my 84, and will be ordering the 5 piece cab kit from 73-87Chevytrucks.com, along with the kickpanel and inner cab corner. I saw a piece that says ouer floor, but not sure if I need it. I am assuming it goes at the rear of the door opening, but was hoping someone could verify. Thanks.

If you are looking at this image:
  The piece you were asking about goes where the lip goes on the floor piece (the dip just inside of where the weather stripping goes and where most dome light lines run down the side of the door. Unless you are having problems with rust at the seat hump, you don't need this piece. The OEM rocker and extended floor should get you what you need.
