has anybody ever put a t56 in their truck
i just picked up a 93 z28 that runs great and looks like **** so i am parting it out but was woundering if anyone has ever put a t56 in their turck how hard it was and also can you take a camaro rear and put it under a 68 leaf setup so you have 4 wheel disc

It's been done. As I recall, you need a high hump and will have to move the crossmember. You will also need to fab up a way for the pedal to actuate the hydraulic master cylinder.
Be aware: the '93 t56 is the weakest of the bunch, although it has steeper gear ratios. '94-up are rated stronger with different ratios. I say do the LT1 and T-56 as a package. Would be very The Camaro rear end would work, but again, is a weak link. Luckily, they are cheap if you break 'em. You would just have to weld on new saddles, change u-joints, and get new wheels for the backspace/lugpattern. Good luck! -Chris

I put a t56 in my truck. I love it, PM me if you need details. I would stick with the truck rear end, unless you want to put a f--d 9 inch.
