The addiction continues!!

Another one followed me home today.. A freebie!! The county was on the owner to clean up his yard.. I just Couldn't turn it down..

A 68 short stepside.. I showed up expecting a rusty POS.. I was totally surprised.. it was hit in the nose so the front sheet metal is junk.. the cab does not need rockers, cab corners or supports.. the rear fenders and bed sides are good..
Now the question is.. What do I do with it?? any ideas?
Should I put my 427 and T400 in it?? rebuild the 6 and look for a 3spd overdrive? Or turn it into a short box trailer to tow behind my Blazer??

NO more trucks!! NO more trucks!! NO more trucks!! .. I cant seem to stop..

OKAY... I now have to repeat to myself slowly three times...

I have to stop reading Craigslist... I have to stop reading Craigslist...I have to stop reading Craigslist...

There.. I feel better...the support group rests..

Re: The addiction continues!!

If you have the title, numbers match, don't cut the frame for trailer.
Come see me. I have a SWB frame already made for a trailer, inspected and CA title. Done and legal. The nice fleet box is long gone!
It even has a built in metal box on the front...Trade?

Re: The addiction continues!!

If I had room, I would pay you for it before I let you turn it into a trailer. My friend is holding on to his '76 POS because he likes the step. I can't seem to find a decent step around here in a 67-72.

Hotrod it, steps look nice with a low stance and mass hp.

I got my truck off CL and my wife hates when I look at it at all.
