Re: stereo installs

I cut the dash, some will mount the radio in the glove box. Sorry I don't have any pics.

Re: stereo installs

I got a free mounting bracket with my radio from Crutchfield. I put mine in the glovebox, but this would probably work under the seat as well.

Re: stereo installs

I bought these awesome aluminum gloveboxes from Kelsfine69. I then built a harness to prevent voltage spikes and hooked up a remote control extender from Pacific Accessory Corporation. I can operate the units with the glovebox door closed. The green one is non/AC, the red one is an AC model.

Re: stereo installs

Don't have pics, but I am using an aftermarket air system that uses a billet control that will fit in the factory radio opening. So I will put my a/c controls there with a mount plate/bezel similar to the factory block off plate, and then use the original a/c control mounting hole for the radio.

Re: stereo installs

relocate your A/C controls and put it there, or you could get an under-dash mounted unit as well.

Re: stereo installs

Always thought an overhead console with stereo would be cool. Maybe easier said than done....
