Dual Tank Switch
I was thinking of setting up a dual tank setup on my truck some place I seen a universal dual tank kit and switch but dont remember where has anybody else done this, what parts did you use?

Auto zone carries the valves.unless you are planning on using a fuel gauge too, a plain toggle will work for the switch. If you plan on a gauge then you will need a stock switch, it diverts power plus sending unit wire.A mid 80's chevy or f@rd carbed will work.

I got a switch from kragen years ago for another truck that switched both the fuel line and the sender wire so the guage always showed the fuel level of the
tank being used. $20 then....

I just bought a 6-port (supply and return for main and auxilliary tank) switch that looks like the one sneakysnake posted at O'Rielly for $63 (Borg Warner brand). With no power this switch defaults to the main tank. With power it switches to the auxilliary tank. My auxilliary tank has no sending unit so I'm not going here, but I think the gas gauge could be handled through a fancier dash switch (I'm using a simple on/off toggle switch).
