One step forward two big steps back.

I am used to things going to crap, this has made me a firm believer in murphy's law. I have been changing my truck over to a big block for about a month now, I get things to start falling in place, so I run to the hard ware store, only to come home to a smashed windshield. I could not belive it, 2 other cars in the drive way and they busted the one that glass is the most exspensive for. I am so pissed, if I find out who did they just might get beat within an inch of their pitiful life. Why? Why go out and smash a random windshield? I just want to choke the piss out of some one. How much fun could random distruction be?

Turn the lights off one night, sit in the dark and watch out the window. They always return because they have no brains. You'll catch them in another act of destruction. This time get it on film.

Man that sucks. Hopefully you can catch whoever did it.

I always thought it'd be funny to stakeout in your truck with a gun overnight sometime (if you knew someone was trying to vandalize it), and when the vandals come up, jump out of the cab with a 12 gauge and scare the hell out of them.

Re: One step forward two big steps back.

Sorry to hear of the damage to your truck. I had 2 little hell raisers move in the only rental house in my old neighborhood. They kept me so mad that I moved away to keep from going to prison for killing them. They were 8 and 10 years old and didn't care about anything. Went to talk to parents and they were sure that I had made a mistake about them sweet little boys. They shot out glass in some of my trucks, took my hoes and garden rakes and left them in middle of my field and I found them with a bush hog. But the straw that broke the camels back was taking a part of my draw bar off the D17 AC and put it in the tall grass. I hit it with my new John Deere riding lawnmower and had to replace the deck. $600 to buy new deck and I admit I lost it and went to their house and made a complete idiot out of myself. I decided it was easier to move than go to jail, But don't give up that's a nice truck you're building.

Re: One step forward two big steps back.

Park it nearer the road, and sit in the bushes, in a tree or on the back facing side of your roof and have a video camera, a beer (not too many), and a bb gun or shotgun loaded with rock salt.......
