72 c/10 ls-1 motor mounts?
I am Installing a 99 ls-1 in my 72 c/10. I need info on my motor mounts and oil pan and any other info I may need in this installation. I also need any info on lowering my rearend my truck has leaf springs. I was going to put my rearend on top of my springs to give my truck some lowering. I have two and a half drop spindles in front. Bags or what? Thanks

I bought 4 inch drop leaf springs fron early classic enterprises. They worked better than putting the rear end on top the springs. And it rides very good.

Your support will be greatly appreciated. Subscribe Here! I really can't give you any advise on the swap since yours is a 2wd and they are different entirely. I can tell you that I used the S&P mounts and they worked fine but they moved the motor about 1.5 inches forward (compared to where the bellhousing would originally be). And I used the stock 6.0 truck pan but it just touches my engine cross member on both sides. After giving it some thought I wonder how using a BB crossmember would work in a 4x4 application?
