What brakes to use on ECE spindles??

I want to get a set of early classic spindles for my 67. I want to keep the truck six lug. I called early classic and they said I have to use the brakes from a 71-72.
Has any one tried using the disc brakes from one of the later model six lug trucks? There are a bunch of blazers and suburbans at local junkyard, will any of these brake compents work.

I would imagine that I could get the master cylinder and proportioning valve from any chevy disc brake truck, but I am not sure which discs and calipers I can use.

Thanks for any advice.
