Hmmmm, I think I just answered my own question. Looks a lot like a steering wheel for a '67 Chevelle.

It does look pretty cool. The truck horn button looks like it fits pretty nicely on the wheel.

In true GM-fashion,back then the horn caps were interchangeable,like the steeringwheels.I needed a glovebox latch/button for my`55 Chevy,once.I pulled one off of a 14 year newer`69 Chevy truck I had,since it`s the exact same part.
I`d love to see more on that SPID.I feel a curiousity hair raisin'.
