thinking about a 72 c20??????
i was looking on the web and found a 1972 c20 for sale for 500.00 right near me. cab is on the frame and the frame is on wheels. Any ways i was looking at it as a project truck. had a 454 th400 in it but the po pulled that out.
!st question: how hard is it to drop a 700r4 and 305 from a 85 c10 into this truck?? Would it be worth even messing with the 305 /700r4? I am not a fan of this combo eather but i have a truck that i have been trying to seel and it has thease in it. so for now this is what i have to work with. Also any parts from the 85 i want. is it worth taking the colum and the power steering. I guess what i am asking is how hard would this swap be? What would be involved? Also what are my options for a bed? Thanks

Re: thinking about a 72 c20??????
That looks pretty good for $500! If you want to put the 305/700r in the main issue would be the driveshaft. You also need to make sure it has the correct engine mount stands and that you have the auto tranny crossmember. Did I miss anything y'all?
