Of all the rear tank conversions I've read about this one peaks my interest the most. Partly because it uses a factory designed tank and should be relatively cheap and it doesn't seem to hang down very far compared to the exhaust pipes. Once a bumper or pan is installed and the tank is painted black it will hardly be noticeable at all.
Oh yeah, the truck is looking REAL good too. I have some narrow center lines on my 69 right now. Yours looks a lot better with the 8".

Yeah , I am really interested in a right up on the S-10 gas tank. I didn't see where you filler neck was. I am definitly putting a gas tank under the bed. But with some mods. I am wanting to put a gas door on the outside of the bed. Make it look factory. Maybe the same S10 will give up it's gas door also.

Nice job on the tank and also the paint. Here on the left coast the first thing the wrecking yard does is punch a hole to drain tank and then remove and crush them.

I was able to get a pic with the bumper on this weekend. The S10 Blazer tank is not even visible! And a shot of the engine, just because.

Hey nice engine compartment. I would get rid of that gas/plastic fuel filter though. Nice compartment could be a firey compartment real quick. I had one they vibrate loose and start leaking. Hot motor leaking gas line. you get the picture.

Nothing against the blazer tank, but I have used the 80's Suberban tank and It just bolts right in. No cutting required on the frame rails. Im actually doing it today, I will post some pics when I am done.
