(Pictures) Just lifted our 86 4 inches.

I been busy the last few days installing a 4 inch lift kit, front springs, rear blocks, new shocks, steering stabilizer, and sway bar drop bracket.

Here's some of the older pics of the truck and some new ones. The new ones are before the sway bar and steering stabilizer were installed.

Thoose are some old ones, here's some new ones of the lift installed.

Re: (Pictures) Just lifted our 86 4 inches.

Thanks,

yea the wheel wells have been done before but are going to get some patches and undercoating for inspection and to get through the winter. I'm gonna try and buy my old man some aftermarket fenders and fender wells for christmas or just later on. Plus some lower door skins and a driver's side rocker panel or rocker skin to replace everything that has rust.

Re: (Pictures) Just lifted our 86 4 inches.

Yea the red bowtie on the truck grille is painted on. The factory emblem was long gone when we got the truck, I just used some red pepper krylon fusion paint on it. Kind of an old trademark of mine the red/orange bowtie.

I tooked the metal glue in emblem out of a 77 truck and painted it chevy orange and glued it on the tailgate on my 76. That got it all started lol.

Lastly thanks for the comments. As you can tell the old primered pictures of the monte are old ones, the new ones are with it white. I painted it first of June.

Re: (Pictures) Just lifted our 86 4 inches.

I'm already running 33's lol. I want like 38's.

The sway bar drop brackets for the rough country kit are required on all 4 inch and up kits, I had to drop the sway bar to get the u bolts in the front end lined up, and once they were in the sway bar was about an inch off the frame. It was a real PITA with that sway bar made to the u bolt holder pieces, whatever you call thoose top caps the u bolts go through.
