Loctite 545 Vs. 565
Any one know the difference between the 2. my slam bags say to use 565 but lots of places i've seen on the net including a couple a guys on here say 545. I searched the net and nothing really says the difference. hmmm

545 is industrial use and it has some lube properties to let it assemble easier then lock. higher strength and harder to take apart.
565 is eaiser to disassemble and is low strength Both are thread sealing and 565 would be more that sufficient for the low vibration use on a car or truck where you may want to dissasemble it to change routing of lines or valves. 545 seals and locks like a thread locker, not needed in your setup and would be better used on high speed machinery that has some constant vibration and is only dissasembled for replacement of the part. |
