Saturdays Progress...

Well, I spent some time with my head in the sandblaster and baking some powdercoating. I powdercoated the bracket for the windshield washer fluid bottle and the two brackets for the top of the radiator. Sorry I didn't take some before pictures, but I am sure that everyone knows what 36 year old brackets look like.

Here is a link to todays powdercoating project: http://www.1970cst10.com/powdercoat/

Cheers,

and all it took was 5 trips to kragen and rotating the dist 380*.

i do need a new flex plate too, the one that came with it has a big flat spot on it and i can only get one revolution per start, then i have to crawl under and rotate it past and try again. i have another but its for the large converter pattern only, no matter what i have to pul the tranny out again.

Man this is the worst case of thread hijacking I've ever seen, Ha Ha. You should have rotated the distributor 540* LOL

Indy those brackets look great! The only problem is now you have to do the rest of the truck.LOL I've got the same stuff to put back on my truck when I get the engine back in. GOOD JOB! VV

It looks good, but it takes soooo long. Slow progress is better than no progress...

Looks good, better than my try at them. Once I get a shop I'm gonna get back into it, but nothing pisses me off more than a nice shiney black part drying in the sun when a bug lands on it and sticks!
