Tailgate rubber holder things - 2 styles?

I have two of the upper tailgate rubber-holder strips. One is from my Jimmy, and the other I took off a parts Blazer. Anyone know when the two styles are from? The flat one is from a 69 Blazer, I am pretty sure it's stock. The other is from a 71 Jimmy, not certain if it stock or not, could have been put on from any 69-72. Anyone know when these styles were used? Maybe one from 69-70 and the other from 71-72? Is one a 72 only?

The red one is the style I have on my 72 Blazer. They must have used this style in the later Gen I's.

I took the green one off an original tailgate myself. I am 99% certain it's a tailgate strip and not a floor strip.
I will compare the hole spcaing to my carpet strips when I get home, I am pretty sure there are less holes in the tailgate strips.

This is exactly how my very original '72 is. If I can ever figure out how to get pictures off my new phone, I'll snap some pictures of them.

The Maroon one is yours. The side ones are on the Jimmy still.

Just like carpet strips (rolled chrome and straight) and dash boards (speaker holes and non speaker)---blazers came with different parts and no real consistant reason--. Also came with the dimpled door reinforcement (69') years before the trucks (72 only!?). Makes for fun trying to figure them out!!
