Question FAQ Internal Regulator ?

I followed your instruction in the FAQ and rewired for the internal reg. I started the blaz and after about 30 seconds I could smell a wire burn. I checked and the power wire for the alt was heating up. I shut down and I got a little smoke from the alt.
If you all dont mind, can you diagnose this problem? Any help is apreciated.
Thanks,
Mario

Re: FAQ Internal Regulator ?

I followed the instructions in the FAQ. The only thing I did different was instead of cutting the external regulator plug, I used a jumper to connect the two wires. I will get pics when I get a chance.
