72 c-10 ac question

I just got a 1972 C-10 and the ac stopped working. It appears that the compressor is original. What do you suggest for repair ? Is it possible to get a R12 replacement or must I need to do a R134 complete system.

Thanks,

Re: 72 c-10 ac question

Are you needing a r12 compresor? If so most parts stores stock them rebuilt. It isnt that hard to do a conversion to r134a. Just do a search or read a few pages back. it gets covered quite often.
