402 big block
I was just wondering if anyone has a 402 factory big block truck that is pretty fast? I just found a 71 gmc shortbed big block truck for 1500. It needs to be assembled and painted. This got the wheels spinning on roller cams, merlin heads, while trying to make it look factory. I think it would be a great sleeper if it looked stock under the hood. What do you guys think?

I tend to think my 396/402 is pretty fast. it was rebuilt before i bought it but i put on roller tip rockers, edelbrock intake, edel carb and hotter hei setup. it spins the ole one legger thru all 3 gears on the th400 even with 32". I've taken the speedo to near zero so i think it's fun and quick. coming up it should be blazingly fast....
