Replacing window division bar felt
How do you do it? Not sure how to remove the old stuff. Is it glued in? The new stuff I have is just a strip of felt. Hows it go in and can it be done without removing the div. bar?
Thank you, Keith. |

Re: Replacing window division bar felt
It would be pretty hard to do it with it in the truck... but it could probably be done. The old felt is held in with pop rivets. You just need to get a screwdriver behind it and pop it out. You're supposed to grind the rivets out and put new ones in.... but I said to hell with it and just glued in my replacement felt strip. I used 3M rubber door seal or something like that. It's worked fine for me.
