Leaking fuel pump?
My '72 w/350 sbc has developed a gas leak, sure looks to be from the seam of the fuel pump, which still pumps fine and is probably original. The whole underside gets wet w/gas when driven, so I don't think it is leaking at a connection on the bottom.
Anyone had this happen before? Tempted to replace the whole thing, wanted to ask the board if this was a common occurrence. thanks! |

Re: Leaking fuel pump?
For only $15 for a new one I would start there....May not hurt to replace some of those rubber lines and get new hose clamps.

Definitely do the lines while you are at it. Don't ask me how I know. (at least my neighbors are talking to me again now)

Re: Leaking fuel pump?
Not quite. But neither of should have to mow again this year.
