Tilt Column

I bought this tilt column about a year ago and with all the discusions about van tilt conversions. I am wondering if the column that I have is original or a conversion. The length is 35-1/2" long, is there any other way of telling, not that it matters I am going to use it anyway. I think I got a good deal it was completely rebuilt with new bearings, wiring, turn signal cam, neutral safety switch, new seal and Borgeson couplers and shaft.

Re: Tilt Column

that coupler isn't needed, being totally rebuilt, it may be a chopped down van unit, but that shaft is about the right length. A stock van unit would be 4 inches or so longer
