Carb recommendation for 307

What do you guys recommend for a carburetor for a 307. What company do you prefer? I'm also looking at getting a new manifold also. So if there are any carb manifold kits please tell me. I want great throttle response and power, but trying to keep good feul economy to.

Q-jet for fuel economy....are you looking into 4bbl or 2? You could pick up an Edelbrock 2101 and a Napa Q-jet or search Ebay....

Well actually I don't care. I'd like a four barrel but if there is a good 2 barrel then I wouldn't care either.

How did you come up with 600cfm? I got about 450.

Re: Carb recommendation for 307

600 is a lot, that would work for an average 350 or 400 SBC. Or look into an Edelbrock 1406...
