fuel tank

Does anyone know if a fuel tank from a 1988 suburban will fit properly between the rear frame rails on a 1972 c10. I know I will have to get a fuel pressure regulator, 'cuz I want to use the electric fuel pump. Also I need a tilt steering wheel for a floor shift truck, w/o ignition switch, what models will work??

Re: fuel tank

Don't know about the tank. The tilt is from a 67-72 but good luck finding one for a floor shift. Most floor shift trucks were farmer specials with the granny 4 speed.Since farmers didn't buy anything that wasn't necessary or functional they were rare.I've actually only ever seen one and I have had one of these trucks for the last 25 years. If you subscribe to the BB you can post Want to buy and for sale ads in the appropriate section.
