68 chevy power steering ram setup...

I dont want to cross anyone by asking this since im not blue and all, so ill start right off and say im not looking for how much this item is worth, but rather just if it is worth anything at all, or if its some rare dealer option or something. i found a '68 chevy used to be a cst, not much left of it, but there is a power steering setup (complete) that is hydraulic ram style instead if a power steering box. its also got the buddy buckets.. ill pry go ahead and grab these pieces anyway, since im a packrat, but if anyone knows if the ram setup is rare at all let me know.

Get the seat and leave the p.s. unless you just need the parts. JMO.

Definitely get the buckets with all the brackets. That ram steering is doo doo, leave it.

I sold a couple of Power ram setups this past summer for about $40 ea. I kept the prices low due to shipping cost, it's heavy when you add in all the gear box, bracket and tie rod.

Would it work on a 67 4wd? Saw someone asking about that last night.

Re: 68 chevy power steering ram setup...

hey guys it was a 2wd and didnt have an engine, but it used to be an auto (no tranny) so im assuming that it was a v-8. it was a CST. anyway.. i left the ram steering cause i didnt feel like lugging around the extra weight if it wasnt worth it. BUT my parts scrounge did come up with a rustfree w/no dents 67-8 radiator support, 73-87 motor mounts for my caddy swap, 73-87 p/s box w pump for the quicker ratio and some awesome buddy bucket seat frames. foam and fabric were mouse eaten and trashed, but all in all a great score!! all for 30 bucks! AND the kids that were working there did most of the work for me! so im proud of myself. my dad and i are gonna go check out a few other potential goldmines, so maybe ill be bragging about some other finds soon!
