what is your next modification?

Thought it would be kind of neat to hear what you all have planned next for your truck...what is the next item you are going to purchase, what is the next modification, etc...

Right now my cab is getting some welding done to it (smooth firewall), and after that the cab will be getting re-painted and put back on the frame where it belongs!

I told you mine, lets hear from you!

I guess mine's finishing my speaker box and console. I am mostly done except for getting everything covered. Still a few small things left to do before taking them to the upholstery shop. Then I'll get my MegaShifter installed and hooked up.

Can't seem to get motivated lately. Too much junk going on.

Talking

The next modification is the suspension, which will involve installing my newly acquired Hellwig rear anti-sway bar, C30 front sway bar, lowering 3/5 or 4/6. Still need to get 3+1 leafs and 1 inch front springs, Edelbrock IAS shocks. Already have 5" flip kit and 3" DJM spindle. Still deciding between 1" block or use of a 2" shackle. After that I will work on the interior.

Well, Im in the middle of the 2004R swap right now. After that comes the new front clip. Then the whole truck sanded and primerd. Then tires so I can install the drop kit [5/6] sitting in the back yard. After that Im getting a cowl hood. Somewhere in all this will come a 3/4ton or 1ton front sway bar. Rear sway bar is a bad idea on trucks unless you never push them all the way, so Im not getting one [I DO plan on pushing it HARD threw the corners]

If I can find a fairly good intake at the swap meet, that will be the first thing.

My floorboards are getting fixed. Got some rust problems. Will be getting some POR15 and some sheet metal to patch in. Then, will cover with carpet.

well i think my next is to replace the poly bushings on the control arms. then 1 in drop springs for front, that will be all the drop i will put (already have the 2in drop shackles on) then i am going to start the body work. i have a few places that are popping up rust, so i think i am going to fix all this stuff real good before the paint job ( grey, of coarse, with 2 1ft wide stripes ,approx 2-3 shades darker grey that run from the front across the top and down the tail gate and then bed liner coating) then maybe tires, tires maybe first, or during the body work, yep thats it, during the body work

Well currently its in the paint shop getting painted Dark Charcoal Grey with a metallic flake, this is a list of things that will be done when it gets out (Suppose to be finished the week of the 18th :=)

Front and rear Pans
Tailgate Skin
Handle Relocator
Side Markers Shaved
Mirrors Shaved (Can't Find any aftermarket ones that look cool)
Drip Rail Shaved
New Phantom Billet grille
Headlight Conversion Kit
New Glass/Gaskets/chrome trim and Tint

Got my shipment in from Eastwood today so if I ever get her out I'll start changing the interior over from blue to black.

On the short list:

1. Gearswap rear out to 4.10
2. Install new instrument cluster
3. Swap front axle yoke to 1350 (4x4)
4. Install SS braided brake lines on my rear discs.

Have all the parts in the garage, just waiting on me to actually go do it.
