Who Makes Tie Downs???

Does any know who makes tie downs for a 72 Fleetside. I have 6 holes for what appears to be for a stake bed. I need loops or something for bungees or straps. I just cant find one that will mount in that hole.

Anyone know of a place?

Thanks,

Chad

BiMart, WalMart, just about any auto parts store like NAPA. I got mine at WalMart and they work well enough. Some are better than others, but mine hold dirt bikes, so that's all that matters.

Here's some like mine on ebay for $28.

I have seen those. Those type dont work on mine. My square channel goes all the way down about 5 inches and has a bottom to it.

So I dont think those wingnuts will work?????

Re: Who Makes Tie Downs???

Mine had a spring loaded clip that sprung open after they were put into the stake pocket. Kinda like a dry wall molley bolt.

They work, that's how everyones pockets are. They are spring loaded, you pop them in and tighten them down like Myoldchevy said. They work just like drywall hangers.

If you stick your finger in there, you will notice there is a slight lip all the way around.

Unless your bed isn't stock, but it sounds like it is.

Re: Who Makes Tie Downs???

ok, now I get it. at first it sounded like his had an added channel or something.
those will work.
otherwise I have seen some that have a piece in the middle that pops up with a flip. these dont stick up when not in use.
