Hi ,
Just curious if you where intrested in a tailgate-rear hatch setup instead of the barn doors on your burban. Let me know if your intrested. Tony from Norcal. |

Re: new here what do you think 64 burb
at ride height, the bars should be horizontal, and the pivot piece should be vertical, if not slightly more than vertical. it looks like you need to shorten your bars. when i got my watts from speedway motors, i had to shorten each side about 3" and retap them. where did you get that watts from?

Re: new here what do you think 64 burb
I was just gonna say that....The bars have to be Horizontal...and the center pivot vertical.
I built my own on a customers F-150...and it worked perfect. The guy had huge 23's, with like 1/8" of space in between the tires and fender wells..didn't even touch during it's up and down travel Good luck...looking good, otherwise !!!! John

Re: new here what do you think 64 burb
hey, curious what your center arm pivots on. is there a bushing, or a bearing or something similar there? i have the speedway kit, and all it pivots on its just a bolt, and thats too flimsy for me.

Re: new here what do you think 64 burb
Hey cool proj. Just FYI; the heim joint tabs on your watts should also be vertical (perp to the main rails), not angled back with the notch.
