door difference??

hi.i need to get a drivers side door for my 67.I know where theres one off a 72.will it fit?I noticed in LMC,they list 67-71,then 72 seperatly.whats the difference?will it still fit?thanks guys.

I think just the inside where the door panels bolts to. It should still work on any 67-72 though.

72 has a dimple just below the vent window where a screw goes through to tighten the outer and inner panels of the door. Unique to 72 trucks but common on older blazers/Jimmys. Doesn't create a problem to install a 72 door on 67 truck.

another difference is that '72 used a diffirent door panel than all the other years so the little stubs that the window crank and door handle connect to are about a quarter of an inch longer than the 67-71 ones.
