The Next Generation

Well, we had a nice day last week, so my helper and I took the "hickup" truck to the hardware store. This is Tyler and he is 3 and I can get him to do almost anything as long as it involves a ride in the truck. His favorite things to say are "GO FASTER" and "TURN IT UP" (the tunes). My truck has been in the family since the early 70's and it's nice to see that it will continue to stay in the family for at least 1 more generation. Now I just need to find another one for my other son Noah. (9 mths) Luckily, I still have a LONG time.

Re: The Next Generation

That's awesome.

My daughter is 6 and have loved all my trucks. She can't wait to roll Daisy now that the air ride is done. I hope to do the first cruise this weekend. She wants to run the switches, it could get interesting.

Once I get the DVD player installed, she'll never want to ride in mom's car again. She says mom's car is too slow anyway.

Re: The Next Generation

that is great!!! my 4 yo loves to ride in Lefty. when I get on it he grabs onto the armrests of his booster seat and smiles real big.
the other day I took my 8 yo to the grocery store and got quite aggressive with the skinny pedal. after it all settled down he started laughing and said "I almost peed my pants"!!
kids are wonderful.

Re: The Next Generation

I wanted to pick my wife and my little guy up from the hospital with the '68but wasn't allowed too. A couple of weeks after Sharon went out with her friend for a couple of hours and I took Ryan around the block, he slept most of the way but I am sure that he will become a permanent fixture at car shows and cruise nights with me.

Good luck with finding another truck for Noah.

Ryan is the reason that we made mine into an extend a cab with newer silverado seats with the LATCH system for his car seat.
