SWB driveshaft...
Are SWB driveshafts for 72 chevys two-piece? I have long wheel base drive shaft and it was two peice so I figured SWB was one...Please help on this..

Seems automatic trucks had 2 piece, manual had 1 in my experience.

I may be on to a two piece shaft for may long to short conversion...the guy said it will need another yoke due to an accident...is that the end of the trans or the actual shaft...pardon my ignorance...

The yoke is on the rearend or the tailshaft of some TH400s. The other auto trannies don't have a yoke on the tailshaft.

this was one of the first questions that i asked when i joined the board and this was the answer i got-------------------------length needed with a 700r4-----56 1/4 inches center to center of the u-joints
