Must Have Magazines For Our Truck Build?
I'll start off with with the most popular. Custom classic trucks, Classic Trucks and I've had lots of great ideas articles from Street Trucks.
Street trucks manages to have at least a pic or article about our trucks in 80 percent of the issues. At least thats how it was in 2006. Honorable Mention Super Chevy Hot Rod What are your favorites and great for tech and motivation. |

Re: Must Have Magazines For Our Truck Build?
Classic and Custom Classic, Hot Rod, Car Craft and Super Chevy are my favs. But Popular Hot Rodding, Chevy Hi-po and Chevy Rumble are good reads too. It seems they dulplicate each other but the car and truck features are good. As far as tech you can only write the same for so long. I've got a few ideas from the features so its worth it.

Re: Must Have Magazines For Our Truck Build?
Super Chevy is the only subsciption I have besides my Goodguys membership that comes with the Gazette. Super Chevy has good tech articles espceially for engine builds. I have referenced themy many times for info.

Re: Must Have Magazines For Our Truck Build?
Sport Truck has had some C-10 tech in it lately, make sure you flip through it at the news stand before buying, just in case. It isn't really all that good otherwise.

Re: Must Have Magazines For Our Truck Build?
The only one I get is Classic Trucks. There seems to be an average of at least 1 C10 a month.

I agree with powell72 about flipping threw before you buy but I say I't goes for most of the different mags. I buy what looks good.

Re: Must Have Magazines For Our Truck Build?
I get Hot Rod,Car Craft,Classic Trucks and Custom Classic Trucks.I also pick up Super Chevy,Chevy High Performance,Chevy Rumble,Sport Truck,Custom Rodder(RIP)Street Rodder,Rod and Custom, and a couple of Rat Rod Mags, when I see something that catches my eye.I read a lot and peruse this BB and some Industrial Tech stuff on the net plus generally read a couple of Chapters from automotive or industrial textbooks every week.On top of that i generally read a couple of novels a month mostly Sci-Fi or suspense thrillers.
My favorite mag for tech is Car craft because it seems more real world and they ocassionally beat on something they built.

Re: Must Have Magazines For Our Truck Build?
I flip through em at the store. Only buy if something interests me. My only subscription for trucks is this website. There isnt anything you cant find here. All you have to do is ask, and bam someone out there knows the answer.

Re: Must Have Magazines For Our Truck Build?

Re: Must Have Magazines For Our Truck Build?
i like truck builder although i can't always seems to find it when it comes out. even though i consider the articles somewhat universal, i adapt to my specific needs using the articles as a starting point.

Re: Must Have Magazines For Our Truck Build?
CG well put, I've had to say this has been the best subscription ever. The forum has done wonders for the trucks and preservation of what's cool. I want to personally thank all of those who are consisntant with the replys and sacrifices your making with your love ones to do so.(LOL)
