tranny and rear end question
hi i have a turbo 400 and i was wondering if any one here knows aproximatly how much oil it should take. Also i plan on changing the oil in the differential it is a 12 bolt with 3:73`s and i think is a limited slip wat oil and how much of it shouold that take.

Are you just dropping the pan, or are you filling from rebuild?? The diff IIRC is around 2 qts, I usually fill til the fluid starts to run out of the fill hole, Fluid for dilff 90w gear oil, the trans dextron trans fluid.

i am juss droppoin the pan. also with the diff ifit is limited slip it dosnt have to be any specialy made for limited slip

dextron 3 for the tranny and IIRC i put 80w-90w in my diff andi think even with limited slip you can in just the normal stuff but even though i dont have it but synthetic would be better
