Re: Project Flat-deck Blazer
At least they didn't cannibalize some mint sheetmetal there. Just a typical beat on rusted hulk. Still, I think they could have saved som effort by just buying a new pack of sawzall blades and going to town. They could have cut the whole rear body off at the cab with nothing more than the a sawzall.
Most of what they did was just to show how distructive they could be. Funny, yes. I've cut junk cars in half with a sawzall in 10 minutes. Then you only have one chunk of crap to throw away instend of the rusty pile they had.

Re: Project Flat-deck Blazer
And it was a 2 wd Blazer. I cut a 79 Nova with sawzall. It is much easier and faster. I kinda like to have a flatbed.

Re: Project Flat-deck Blazer
The Isuzu has a chevy 3.1 engine in it and was built in Indiana. Does that count as part Chevy. 91 and 92 Rodeo and pickup's used Chevy engines. Here's a picture of my bad weather beater. 92 4x4 with 3.1 Chevy eng. 5 spd. I really like this truck. It will go anywhere. It has 31x10.50 longtrails on it. I just used it to pull a freinds 89 Chevy lwb truck that had a trailer loaded with trash out of his muddy back yard. The little truck didn't even spin the tires pulling the truck and trailer out. I put it in low range and it has 4:30 gears. PS. Sorry about the highjacked post.
