Cab Support question
I'm in the process of repairing my cab. After cutting the floor out and the cab support I noticed that one of the supports was not welded. The support in question is the one running from front to rear. Right where it meets the angled one from the firewall support it is not welded, just kindof sitting on top of the one from the firewall. The place in question is right under the pedals. Is this the way of factory to allow flex? Or should I weld it up? Thanks for any suggestions.

It should be welded. I looked at my cab and it has 3 large spot welds where the two supports overlap.
I noticed a few places where there was welds missing on my cab. maybe our cabs were made on friday, late in the day....... |
