new model door handles on our trucks?
Has anyone ever put newer model door handles on our trucks? any info or pictures would be appreciated, i am fixing to repaint and just throwing around a few ideas

I have seen the 88-98 door handles , they look good, but its lots of work.

Just wondering but why in alot of your post do you ask if the newer stuff will work? have a newer parts truck??

some ppl dont b/c some areas cops are huge butts about stuff.. where i live in PA, if i shaved mine, my stuff would get towed and 'red stickered'.

How many of you have a friend that has had his 88-up truck broken into/stolen & the theif gained entry by jamming a screwdriver behind the doorhandle plate.
If I were going to go through the trouble of installing a later model (flush) door handle, the 88-up trucks would not make the list as a possible donor.

One thing to consider is where they have to be mounted. As you can see in the pic they have to be mounted below the body line. There is not enough depth in the door to mount them any higher.
