I have a set of 69-70 bucket seats that I want to recover but want to use the 71-72 style covers. What will I have to do to get these to fit?

I believe the only difference is in the upper foams.We`ll see what others say.

You can replace the foams with new molded ones...about $400 for both seats and the result is really nice. Then just get 71-2 covers.
OR you can have custom covers made that look like the 71-2, but are cut to the 69-70 patterns. Probably about $100 extra over the normal cost of 69-70 covers. Houndtooth also available in custom made.

The seat foam and patterns are slightly different 69-70 to 71-72. You can fit the 71-2 repopped covers on the earlier seats but will have a bit of an issue with the inner wire "U" pattern being in the right place. It can be done as I have done more then one set.
