Amperage Requirements?
what's the typical amperage requirements for these trucks and what were the stock alternators typically rated at?
I will be adding a couple fans and a decent sound system and just wanted to make sure my current alternator (I think it's 90 amps) will be just fine.

The parts house has them at 60 amps and that is what my camaro had and it had a/c and power windows. so 90 should be great. I'm going with a 100 amp 1 wire later on.

I have a non-ac truck and the stock alt ----before the conversion---was rated at 35a

mine was rated at 31 amps new i went with and 70 amp internal reg alt off an 83 k-10 no belt change required or anything just wire 30 mins max if you follow write up

Stock alternator on my truck is a 37 amp ( also as listed in 1971 GM Chassis Service Manual as stock. )
