Look at this... One mans collection rotting into ground...

Found this a few houses away from a friends the other day. Nobody I talked to know's how to get ahold of the owner of the stuff. Until I find out more, I am going to keep the location a secret. Thought I would share a few of the pics I took... There is more here to, just ran out of film

Re: Look at this... One mans collection rotting into ground...

yeah, it's a shame... I counted 23 1st gen blazers(3 of them are 2wd!), 3 1st gen Jimmy's, 5 67-72 burbs(2 are 1/2 ton bigblock), 2 72 Cheyenne Supers(one C10 & one C20), a few 2wd short fleets(one GMC), 63 Impala convert, 58 Impala 2dr hdtp, 70 SS454 MonteCarlo w/ 4spd, plus some early bronco's, scouts and numerous 73 + K5's. Not to mention the earlier trucks(65? Burb, 65? Panel, pickups, ect...)

Yep, I got a lot of neighbours up here like that... or they say things like "I'm not gonna sell it, I'm going to restore it myself!" ...but it's been in the same spot for over 25 years and now they are in a retirement home... and during that time, a tree has grown up through the box older then me!

Re: Look at this... One mans collection rotting into ground...

Check the address through the county tax office, some of that stuff is public record and maybe you can get a name to look up in the phone book. I think the records of the last sale/tax value of the property is what you want to find.

Yep, you can see the tilt in this truck(71 Cheyenne Super), but you can't see the tach dash or AM/FM. Windshield is broken and the dash, column & radio all look like junk

That may be true Bagged91, but look at the rare wood hood trim. Those are in prestine shape.

I would landscape that yard for one of those C/10s. The owner should at least throw waterproof tarps over those cars n trucks. Even though there are over 30 of em. they should all be respected. Looks like abandoned dogs . But Id take one if i could.---Andy
